What are you most looking forward to about this retreat?
I'm looking forward to slowing things down a bit. I'm excited for the opportunity to take things slow and have no obligations or responsibilities that will urge us to rush through each practice.
Is there anything you've been dreaming up specifically for our time in Joshua Tree and Palm Springs?
I'm dreaming up an inversion workshop for sure, and I'm excited to learn more niche breath work exercises to deepen our practices and meditations.
What would you say to someone who's thinking about coming solo?
Coming solo gifts you the opportunity to engage with others in a new way, without the expectation of being any specific version of yourself.
How would you describe your teaching style in your own words?
My teaching style is very breath-led and a little philosophical, to be honest. I come from a power flow background, so my classes have a real sense of build and momentum, but I care just as much about sthira (steadiness, strength) as sukha (comfort, ease).
