Dose founder Emily Wallace was a college student in Raleigh NC when, on a whim, she took a hot yoga class for the first time; it ended up changing the course of her life. She got hooked pretty fast and dropped out of college to start yoga teacher training. After earning her RYT 200, the Belmont, NC native began working as an instructor at different studios before opening up two well known hot yoga studios in the Triangle area. Looking for a change of pace, she spent a year in Washington, DC. Today, with a love of yoga in her bones and a decade of teaching and business ownership under her belt, she’s back in Raleigh serving up her very best...Dose.
L I P S A S H A H
My yoga journey began over a decade ago after being profoundly impacted by the body and mind transformation. I strive to create an environment in trainings and during my weekly classes that is inclusive, safe, and informative. I completed my 200-hour and first 300-hour trainings in New York City at Y7 Studio. As a forever student, I am committed to continuously expanding my knowledge. To this day, you will always find me in various trainings. After my initial 300-hour training, I went on to receive my personal training certification through ACE Fitness and completed an additional 300-hour training through a community based in Miami, FL. In addition to my advanced training, I went on to obtain a specialized prenatal certification. I feel incredibly lucky to have been taught by such important teachers in the yoga space including one of my biggest influences, Heather Lilleston. My classes integrate creative vinyasa sequences, meditation, good music, and philosophy. With a strong focus on proper alignment, I will offer many hands-on adjustments and demonstrate throughout class. It is my mission to make Dose's yoga training accessible and inviting - no matter where you are on your journey.
Outside of the yoga studio, I am devoted to my self-care which often looks like continuing my own education, head down in a book, cooking, or spending quality time with my husband and our dogs.

Karley St. Pierre is an RYT-200. She completed her 200 hour training in May 2020. Karley empowers her students to create space in their minds through purposeful movement in the body. You can always expect some good tunes on the playlist (famously doing core activation to Harry Styles) as well as some laughs! She cultivates a thoughtful, fun space in her classes. Karley enjoys teaching dynamic Daily Dose classes that balance personal empowerment and strength and holds sacred, nurturing space when teaching Dose Down. When she’s not movin’ and groovin’ at Dose, Karley spends her time with Louise, her precious chihuahua-lab.
