WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Asana and Alignment
A deep study of the postures that make up the practice. You will learn the foundation and alignment of each pose, how poses relate to one another, and how to see a body clearly enough to teach it. Correcting form with confidence is a Dose standard, and it starts here.
Teaching Methodology
How to actually teach. Cueing that moves bodies, a voice students can rest inside, music that serves the room rather than fills it, and the presence to hold a class from the moment the first student walks in. You will practice teaching from the start of the program and receive real feedback the whole way through.
Sequencing + Practicum
Learn to build a class with an intelligent arc, one that warms the body with intention and delivers students somewhere by the end. You will sequence, teach, observe classes across our studios, and refine your work with faculty mentorship until teaching feels like yours.
Anatomy + Physiology
Ground your teaching in how the body actually works. Bones, muscles, joints, and the way they move through practice, taught experientially so the knowledge shows up in your cueing rather than staying on the page.
Breathwork + Meditation
Pranayama as both a personal practice and a teaching tool, from the mechanics of the breath to how it steadies a hot room. You will also build a meditation practice of your own and learn the role stillness plays in the larger practice.
Philosophy + History
The roots of yoga, taught with depth and respect. The Vedas, the eight limbs, the Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, and the ideas of dharma and karma, all connected to how you live and teach now.
Subtle Body
The energetic architecture of the practice. Chakras, nadis, and the layers of the body beyond muscle and bone, explored through study and through experience.
Ethics + Equity
What it means to hold the seat of the teacher. Consent, scope, and the power dynamics of the room, along with honoring where this practice comes from and making sure every body that walks in feels the class was built for them.
Business of Yoga
Taught by our founder. What it takes to build classes people drive across town for, how to make teaching a living if you want it to be one, and what nobody tells you when you start.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Dose understands and believes in the importance of creating an equitable and inclusive yoga space in our community. Because of that, we have made a commitment to offering scholarships to BIPOC. We are offering 1 scholarship per every 10 trainees who sign up. This scholarship is given to someone who is involved in their community and has a passion to learn and grow as a yogi and human.
ATTENDANCE
We hold our Dose Degree program to a high standard and feel strongly about creating an equitable and fair experience for everyone. Since we believe in the power and benefit of completing the entire teacher training program, we ask that you only miss two missed days for the duration of the training.
